2006 Brighton Pride - London Shame

I went down to Brighton this weekend for the annual Brighton Pride and what great day, warm weather and sea air made a pleasant change from London’s recent stifling heat and traffic fumes (and less than an hour by train!). The whole event was brilliantly organised (and free) with a real carnival atmosphere. (and this year a Carry On Pride theme complete with Babs Windsor riding one of the floats!)

Why couldn’t this years Euro pride in London have been as well organised instead of being spread over three sites and totally lacking any kind of atmosphere? Even more embarrassing it was Euro Pride not exactly the message we want to send our European cousins!

Well done Brighton you should be proud and shame on you London!
